It's
the depth and quality of the soil that gives the trees a good place to
grow. It's the sunlight, water, and nutrients in the soil that make the
trees grow. It's protection from attack, drought, pollution and blight
that allows the trees to grow strong and tall.
And it's the trees that create the forest.
The Big Picture doesn't exist without the smaller details. If someone
is trying to plant you in shallow soil, don't let them. Find better land
to root yourself in.
